ESSEX PERFORMANCE ACADEMY
The Essex Performance Academy is coming to Billericay!

We teach young adults performance skills in Dance, Acting and singing every Wednesday from 4.15pm – 7.00pm. Students also have the opportunity to take Dance exams and LAMDA Acting exams

Why are we different?
Not only do we have some fantastic professionals teaching all of our classes (All of our teachers are still working performers) but we also work as a Co-op production company and Agency for all of our students.

Productions:
We aim for all of our students to learn skills and perform throughout the year. As a working production company once all overheads and expenses are paid out for each performance any profit will be split between the cast members!
So we will essentially be aiming to pay our students to perform. These performances can then be Added to professional working CVS, which we will also assist with! And when the time is right based on the individual students progress we can discuss becoming part of the Spotlight book so we can begin to send our students out on professional industry castings.

Our Students will be expected to take classes every Wednesday in Dance, Acting & Singing. We don’t expect everyone to be brilliant at all three but we will expect a good standard and willingness to try to improve, hard work and dedication.

How does all of this work?....honesty is the best policy

Basically the more students we have attending each week the more money our members could potentially earn per production.

If the School is making a good profit we will have the means to perform good quality shows in bigger and better venues that means more audience capacity higher value tickets so more profit earned!
All of this ultimately relies on students working to promote the company and bringing more talented people each week.... The more the merrier in other words!

So to summarise:
Our Students can perform/work and earn while learning and improving skills
We assist in CV’s, College/University/Drama School entries
We help upload profile pages to Spotlight and actively seek work for Students as their agents
We have one off lessons with other working professional
We run workshop classes in audition technique and the skills needed to improve Artistes Cv’s.
We can offer office work placements and teaching placements for those interested

How much?
Now I bet your thinking as your reading how much is all of this going to cost?
We have compared prices with many other Schools & Academy’s ...Actually we don’t compare we are far better value! Again working on the idea the more the merrier we actually only charge £14.00 per week for all 3 classes and well...everything else

No parking at venue, but able to drop off and pick up. Alternatively walking distance from Billericay Station or cars can park in Waitrose car park and walk through to Chapel Street.
